Turkey, circa 1850
Two nineteenth century Turkish pottery Kutahya jugs, both with pear-shaped bodies supported by a short circular feet, the cylindrical necks with a curved handles to one side and spouts to the other, decorated in colourful palettes of cobalt blue, copper green and yellow in foliate designs and traditional motifs on a white ground.
