Indian , circa 1890

A late nineteenth century Indian dagger, the iron hilt and scabbard entirely damascened in brass foliate designs, the zoomorphic pommel in the form of a parrot’s beak, with curved Damascus steel blade decorated with brass inlay at the ricasso.
