A fine pair of large panels of mid eighteenth century Chinese export wallpaper, the panels depicting foliage including peonies and prunus, each panel centrally painted with an exotic Chinese parrot, with pairs of conjugal birds and butterflies painted throughout, framed in painted green frames. Please note, comparable examples of Chinese export wallpaper at Belvoir Castle, Leicestershire and Nostell Priory, Yorkshire.
