A fine late eighteenth century black lacquer Anglo-Chinese games table, the top opening with support from a gate leg to reveal a central chess board surrounded by dished areas for gaming counters to play cards, decorated throughout with gilded foliate arabesques and further chinoiserie, all supported on four tapering legs.
