A fine early nineteenth century goncalo alves cabinet with intricate brass inlay of foliate designs, the top half with glazed cabinet doors opening to reveal a silk lined interior, surmounted with architectural crenelated pediment, the lower half opening with two cabinet doors, with secret drawer hidden behind the frieze above. All supported on four scroll feet with brass mounts to the outer and inner edges. Attributed to George Oakley.
