An unusual mid-nineteenth century Venetian glass mirror made for the ottoman export market, the original central rectangular plate with small scallop-cut edge framing, secured at each corner with star cut blue glass pieces, the decorative arched cresting with a central star cut blue oval with radiating lozenge cuts, surrounded by further foliate etched glass panels flanked by two stylised glass finials, all terminating in decorative supporting feet.
