A 19TH CENTURY PENWORK LAMP
England circa 1850
An unusual wooden table lamp, decorated with fine penwork decoration, the turned column of baluster form worked in sections with sprays of stylised foliage and flowerheads on a dark green ground, divided by ring-turned bands of geometric ornament, raised on a turned circular foot.

Currently wired for the UK with painted off white candle and patinated brass BC bulb fitting, with bronze twisted silk flex and black torpedo switch, with 13amp plug. PAT tested. Please enquire for rewiring services.
