A pair of early twentieth century blue glass lamps with custom pleated shades, designed by Gunnar Biilmann-Petersen. 

Gunnar Biilmann-Petersen (1897-1968) is one of the most important figures in the history of Danish design. He trained at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts' School of Decorative Art and went on to work as an architect. However, his most prominent contribution to the world of art was in the field of graphic design. 

Parallel with work in his design studio, Biilmann-Petersen was involved in teaching and research, and in 1951 he was appoinnted the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts' first Professor of Design. Biilman-Petersen's output also included many proposed designs for LE KLINT table lamps, including the Model 343.
